Water delivered for the Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge

Glastonbury Spring Water were delighted to deliver the water for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance annual Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge, which took place on Sunday 15th May.

This is the second year that Glastonbury Spring Water supplied the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance with water for the 600 riders taking part, as well as 100 support volunteers.

Supporting Coast to Coast Cycle ChallengeRiders were kept hydrated with bottled water along the 54 mile route from Watchet Harbour in Somerset to West Bay in Dorset.

Tina Viksna, Fundraising Manager for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance said, “Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance are extremely grateful to Glastonbury Spring Water Co Ltd for their continued support through the supply of bottled water for our annual Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge. With 600 riders taking part, it is important that hydration is maintained throughout the 54 mile route”.

Families, friends and colleagues turned out in support, cheering the cyclists on along the route and at the starting and finishing points in Watchet and West Bay. Last year cyclists raised over £60,000 for the Air Ambulance. If you’d like to add your support, you can donate £5 by texting COAS16 £5 to 70070.
